Sweden is now converting a highway into a permanent electrified road, the first of its kind in the world. On an electric road, cars and trucks can recharge while driving.

The project requires robust and durable enclosure solutions to protect electric vehicle charging equipment in outdoor environments.

In this context, Delvallebox has developed Storm outdoor enclosures made of stainless steel with 2 doors, designed to meet these demanding outdoor conditions. The Storm outdoor enclosures series, with an IP66 rating, provides superior protection against dust and water, ensuring that charging equipment remains safe and operational in any weather conditions.

Additionally, they feature a sturdy anti-lever key handle, protecting electrical and electronic equipment from unauthorized access. They are designed for the placement of 19" racks in telecommunications. Their double-door design facilitates access for maintenance and equipment installation, thus optimizing the operability of charging stations in this innovative project.
