The Railway 4.0 Project, with an investment of approximately 8 million euros, is funded by COMPETE 2020, Lisbon 2020, Portugal 2020, and the European Union. Led by the Portuguese Railway Cluster, this project mobilizes companies and entities from the R&D System to develop components, tools, and systems that promote the economic and ecological sustainability of railway transport.

Our Tropic IP66 enclosures have been selected for their ability to offer exceptional protection against corrosion, humidity, and adverse weather conditions, which is vital to maintaining the integrity and safety of equipment in the railway environment. These enclosures not only meet the most demanding safety standards but also contribute to reducing operational costs and improving asset management, providing a reliable and efficient solution that supports the sustainability and technological development goals of the Railway 4.0 Project. Through innovative research and development activities, this project aims to test and validate these solutions in real infrastructures, boosting the international recognition and competitiveness of the railway sector in Portugal.
