The Losail International Circuit is a 5,380-metre (3.375 mi) long racetrack located 20 km northeast of Doha, Qatar. It was built in 2004 to host the Qatar Motorcycle Grand Prix, part of the World Motorcycle Championship. In 2008 it became the first night race in the history of MotoGP and is usually the opening circuit, the season curtain-raiser.

On this occasion the project consisted of a technical upgrade to the circuit and the renovation of the fibre optic cabling, including the introduction of a huge control room, with a new configuration in the Composite TV Broadcast Area. All track and race control room security cameras were also renewed. This installation also included light signage, installations, software, and timing control.

SOLUTION PROPOSED BY DELVALLE'S ENGINEERING TEAM

An installation of this size and, above all, with the public exposure it has, requires fully tested solutions that do not allow any margin for error in their application. We resorted to the TRIBECA electrical enclosure in stainless steel, which is easy to install, anchored to the ground and with the maximum available space, to ensure that the telecommunications systems and fibre had ample capacity.
