The new high-speed moving walkway has been installed at Toronto Airport, in Canada. It is called TurboTrack, a moving walk that makes possible the movement of people in a fast way between distances from 100 meters to 1,5 kilometres.

At first appearance, it seems similar to a mechanical hall but this new system allow the movement of people 2 meters per second. This system can be installed not only in airports but also in railway or underground stations.

The first units of TurboTrack came into service next to three conventional halls and cover a distance of 270km. The first two units were commissioning the last month of March at Lester B. Pearson Toronto Airport after more than one year of certifications.

The TurboTrack started to be developed seven years ago in Asturias with the collaboration of nationals programmes.
