Siemens Gamesa undertook the project to build a 34.6-megawatt (MW) wind farm in Los Arcos (Malaga), specifically between the municipalities of Almargen, Teba and Campillos, given that energy transition is currently one of the pillars of Spanish economic development.

This facility has been in operation since the end of 2019 and has a capacity of more than 100 GWh per year, which will prevent the annual emission into the atmosphere of approximately 69,000 tonnes of CO2. At its maximum size, it will be equipped with 10 3.5-MW unit power wind turbines.
