Officially opened in 1989, the motorway C-16 has a traffic intensity of more than 20.000 vehicles per day. 48.3 kms long//20414 vehicles daily/ 233.1 million euros invested.

The Sant Cugat-Terrassa-Manresa motorway (C-16) is part of the LLobregat axis and the European E9 connecting Barcelona with France. This motorway links the Vallvidrera tunnels, the AP7 motorway in both directions, the C-16 motorway Sallent-Berga and the catalan C-25 axis in both directions.

Open to traffic on 20th June 1989, it has proven to be a highly secure and safety improvement works have just begun between Berga y Bagá with a further 3.2 million euro investment.

All together C-16 is 48.3 in length and over 20.000 vehicles pass along it daily.
