The San Marcos Wind Farm is located 140 kilometres south of the capital of Tegucigalpa (Honduras), near the border with Nicaragua. This wind project will generate 50 MW of clean energy and includes the installation of 25 Gamesa G9 wind turbines, which will supply the energy demand of approximately 100,000 households, equivalent to the energy supply for about 500,000 people.

The owner of the wind farm, Grupo Terra, is the largest private operator of energy projects in Central America. Based in Tegucigalpa, the company has extensive experience in the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of both renewable and thermal energy projects. Delvalle's commitment to renewable energies has resulted in new systems specifically adapted to customer needs and which are environmentally friendly.
