Combined Cycle Power Plant (Valladolid)

A combined cycle power plant is an electricity generation facility that uses two heat cycles to generate electricity more efficiently (the first cycle uses natural gas or a similar fuel, and the waste heat is used to generate steam for a second cycle, which drives a steam turbine to generate additional electricity).

The Valladolid IV CC Power Plant is an ongoing project for a 1061-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power plant in the state of Yucatan, Mexico. It will enable Mexico to further reduce the contribution of the most polluting electricity generation plants.

At Delvalle, we are proud to have been able to contribute our engineering department's knowledge and experience by supplying electrical cabinets. For this purpose, we incorporated our stainless steel Luxor Series cabinets, Geo Series enclosures and the innovative Rambo Series instrumentation and control enclosure, also known as the Interlocking Manifold Enclosure, specifically designed for High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems and Safety Instrumented Systems.
