The Ovenden Moor wind farm is a recently developed wind farm site in England, is located north of Halifax and west of Bradford in West Yorkshire. The site opened in 1993 with 23 turbines, but these were later removed in favour of larger, more efficient and powerful turbines with 14 fewer towers. This upgraded the site's output from 9.2 MWh to 22.5 MWh, with a 25-year expected generation service life. The turbines can be seen from a distance, creating a spectacular show of contrasts.
