Due to the low opening-pressure of the valve, the vent drain installed on the underside of the cabinet can also drain water that is standing on the bottom almost completely.
Vent drains also function as an air pressure equalizer, reducing the harmful effects of temperature-induced vacuums that could pull water and moisture into the enclosure.
We have a model in stainless steel AISI 304 and another of corrosion-resistant nylon.
With proper installation and through the built-in membrane and check valve, the degree of protection of the enclosure is maintained up to IP68/69 (nylon).
